Straight stairlifts
The simplest lift for the simplest staircase. If your stairs run in one line with no turns or landings, this is almost always the right fit, and the fastest to install.
Built for a single flight
A straight stairlift runs on a rail fixed to the stair treads, with no bends to engineer and no custom bends to fabricate. That keeps the rail a stock length and the install fast, often in a few hours.
It's the right choice for the majority of Owen Sound homes we visit: a single run from main floor to second floor, or into a basement, with no landing partway up.

Our straight lift lineup
Four straight models covering every stair width and weight capacity. We'll recommend the right one at your free assessment.
Power options worth asking about
Power seat swivel
The seat turns to face the landing on its own, so stepping off at the top is easier.
Power folding footrest
The footrest folds itself up at the press of a button, one less thing to bend down for.
Active seat
A powered seat angle that helps you rise to standing at the top of the stairs.
Slide track
The rail itself slides out of the way at the bottom, clearing the step for everyone else.
What comes with every straight lift
Folding rail and seat
The seat, arms and footrest fold flat against the wall when not in use, so the stairs stay clear for everyone else in the house.
Battery powered
Runs on rechargeable batteries that trickle-charge at each end of the rail, so it still works during a power cut.
Fast install
Straight rail lengths are stock, so most straight-flight jobs are measured, ordered and fitted within days, not weeks.
Seat and finish options
Choose a seat colour and rail finish that suits your stairs. We show you the exact combination on your visit.
Pictures speak louder than words
Not sure if your stairs are straight?
A straight stairlift needs a single flight with no turns, no landing part-way, and no change in width. If your stairs curve, turn a corner, or have a landing, you likely need a curved lift instead.
Stairs that turn or bend?
The rail is custom made to match every corner and landing.
